It is a user-friendly, robust device that, once installed, works directly via the Wonder Wheel without additional supplies. It offers heat and shock protection for a safe driving experience in all conditions. With full CarPlay and Android Auto integration, you can access navigation, traffic information, music and hands-free calling. Thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, you enjoy stable connectivity and voice control for iOS. The 5-inch ultra-bright IPS LCD touchscreen offers 1200 cd/m² brightness, so it is always clearly visible, even in bright sunlight. The screen automatically adjusts to light conditions and has a lock function to prevent unwanted instructions.

Wat zijn de belangrijkste verschillen tussen een TomTom en een Garmin?

De verschillen zijn legio, maar dit zijn wat ons betreft de belangrijkste verschillen: Een TomTom Rider is qua bediening wat gebruiksvriendelijker en voelt meer als een smartphone. Met de Garmin heb je meer opties qua routeplanning en kun je ook offroad rijden via zogenaamde tracks.

Hoe installeer ik dit navigatiesysteem op mijn motor?

De navigatiesystemen die wij verkopen worden geleverd met een bevestiging voor op het stuur van het merk RAM-Mounts. Bij de meeste motoren kun je hiermee uit de voeten, maar als je een betere oplossing nodig hebt dan kun je je hart ophalen met alle mogelijke onderdelen die RAM-Mounts in het assortiment heeft.

Welke kaarten zitten er op dit navigatiesysteem?

Bij elk navigatiesysteem vermelden wij op onze website welke kaarten er vooraf geïnstalleerd zijn en of je andere kaarten kunt downloaden (eventueel tegen betaling) van de website van de fabrikant. Kijk hiervoor net naast of onder de foto van het product.

Kan ik zelf routes uploaden in dit navigatiesysteem?

In zowel de TomTom als de Garmin navigatiesystemen kun je zelf GPX-routebestanden inladen. Deze bestanden kun je zelf maken met behulp van de TomTom of Garmin software, of downloaden van het internet.
